Spoke to Mark who then introduced me to his propspective tutor. I was impressed by the tutor and went ahead to set up a meeting with my son's teacher. Mark followed up with me to inquire about proceeding but as soon as I asked for references, for a tutor who would potetially be in my home, the tutor was no longer available. I do not necessarily fault the tutor as I'm sure she was instructed to let Mark handle the reference inquiry (which I sent to both Mark and the tutor). Even if the sudden unavailability is legit - wouldn't it behoove one to let a propsective client know that you are very busy so that they should decide quickly??
