Tutoring Services and Experience
I have 5 years experience tutoring students from grade 4-12. I was in early French Immersion and have a Dogwood Diploma in English and French. I am attending University at Emily Carr University of Art + Design so I love to share my artistic knowledge. I cater specifically to the needs of every individual I teach as I believe that every student has a different method of learning. I enjoy helping with homework and exam studying but I also ensure that my student is always slightly ahead of the curriculum. Projects and worksheets are a big part of my teaching- practice makes perfect! I like to see my students develop academically but also personally. French is a hard subject and with the right amount of guidance, it can bring both good marks and positive experience for the young learner. I also love teaching art and design. Colour wheel, painting and sculpture techniques, and creative process are some of the important fine arts skills to have in life. I can also give guidance in both HUMN 100 and HUMN 101 art history lectures. I am dedicated to my students' success and will work relentlessly to improve their academic, artistic and personal lives.
