Columbia believes that, with proper guidance, any student can achieve excellence at the high school and undergraduate levels, emphasizing long-term preparation in solidifying fundamentals for optimal success. Unlike corporate test-prep centres, which only provide limited improvements in the short-term, we help our students build the foundations necessary for maximum scores and general success in their studies. We also understand that high-achievers have busy schedules, so we value efficiency and quality over quantity. Unlike “cram schools” that seek results through repetitive drilling and disproportionate homework, we seek to maximize classroom learning, reinforced by a feasible amount of homework. Columbia provides the perfect balance between quick, limited “shortcuts” and slow, redundant learning to achieve maximum results. All instructors have Masters degrees in their fields, along with over a decade of teaching experience at a wide range of levels, from child to adult learners.
