Tutoring Services and Experience
I have a BC teaching certificate with a clean criminal record check. I have 7 years tutoring experience. At university (BA, BEd), I specialized in special education. I am skilled in teaching ESL at all levels, differentiated and special education instruction and knowledgeable with regard to provincial curriculum, learning assessments and IEPs.
I use a variety of excellent materials to create a positive learning environment and provide quality instruction to my students based on their individual needs and interests. I work to meet the goals of my students and their parents and communicate often to report on a student’s progress. With flexibility, patience, understanding and quality instruction, my students improve their school performance and have successfully written the SSAT to enter the school of their choice.
