Tutoring Services and Experience
I am an engineering graduate from UBC. I've been tutoring students in a wide area of Mathematics ranging from grade 8-12, including AP Calculus.

I believe that the proper way to teach students is to help them understand and not force them to memorize by practicing in repetition. As such, when teaching, I mainly focus on helping students understand related concepts and theories. If there is additional time, I will guide students in solving problems, but only enough to ensure that the student is able to practice on his/her own time. This way of tutoring paves the way for more effective and efficient lessons while, at the same time, producing quicker results.
