Tutoring Services and Experience
I am a B.C. licensed teacher that has much experience tutoring students in grades 5 to 12. Many of my students are English Language Learners (ESL). Through my teaching experiences I have determined which methods help students the most. One important reason why students under my guidance are able to learn more effectively than in their normal school environment, is because I provide lessons that are individualized according to each student’s learning styles. Also, another of my abilities is that I help students to connect the lesson material to their everyday lives and interests. By providing lessons that engage these areas, students are more motivated to learn the lesson material and are better able to connect the knowledge they learn to their everyday lives. The following are some of the subjects that I teach:

•English: Writing, Reading
•English provincial 10, 12 exam test prep
•Social Studies 9 & 10
•Homework and essay writing help,
IELTS test prep., etc.


Credentials: BA, BEd—York University (graduated cum laude)
