REVIEWS:
“I have been tutored by Stéphane for over a year and have had great results in my C# courses. He's helped me with having a programmer's thought process. He explains very well and is very, very patient. He even created a tutorial to help me understand how object-oriented programming works. I highly recommend Stéphane as a tutor. You will not be disappointed!”

Hello,
I have been tutoring since 2013 with many very satisfied students who often refer back to me. I am an Algonquin College graduate of the Internet Applications and Web Development program and have tutored people from Algonquin College, the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, and more.
I regularly tutor the following subjects: Java, C#, PHP, ASP.NET, HTML, and JavaScript. I have also successfully helped with COBOL, Android, C, C++, JQuery, NodeJS, XML, Python, FreeBasic, and Shell.
If you are not sure that I can help you with a subject, ask and I will answer honestly. I do not wish to waste anyone's time.
What I do:
• Establish the student’s trust by building a relationship and maintaining confidentiality;
• If necessary, create a customized test and model a teaching strategy that is tailored to the student’s strengths and weaknesses;
• Develop new ways to explain concepts due to differences in students’ comprehension;
• Ensure that the student truly understands the concepts and is not simply replicating.
I offer remote tutoring using Skype in conjunction with TeamViewer to share the screen and talk to the student. This, in my experience, increases the amount of learning compared to face-to-face tutoring.
I am willing to drive almost anywhere in the city to meet and work (your home, my home, public library, etc.). However, free parking is mandatory.
RATES:
• FREE? Some schools provide free tutoring to students with disabilities. This can often be anything from anxiety, dyslexia, physical, ADHD, etc. If you think you would qualify for that, you will need to get a counsellor with your school. Contact me for more information.
• $28.00 / hour for tutoring remotely or at my home.
• $35.00 / hour for tutoring anywhere else.
Discounts:
• -10% if more than 6 hours per week (7 consecutive days, no roll-over)
I accept cash, credit card, PayPal, and e-transfers.
Thank you
