Tutoring Services and Experience
I recently graduated from UofT with a fourth year GPA of 3.25/4.0. I majored in Statistics with minors in Math and Psychology. I started off by volunteering as a peer tutor as well as a peer mentor in high school, tutoring students from Grade 4 to 11. In university, I began tutoring Grade 12 students as well as some university students in the recent years.

My primary goal is to improve the students' skills and prepare them for future courses as well as help boost their confidence in themselves- often, students second guess themselves and make mistakes. A large number of my students have secured 'A's in their courses.

My first session with the student is essentially an assessment where I judge their strengths and weaknesses and create their lesson plans and homework problems accordingly. The students will often have pop quizzes and tests to see how much information they retain as well as if there are any changes I need to make to help them further improve their skills. I touch base with the parents regularly in order to keep them updated on their child's progress.
