Tutoring Services and Experience
I received my BSc in Physics from Bishop's University in 2008 and my PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Toronto in 2013. I have almost ten years experience tutoring various subjects from high school mathematics and science to first-year university astronomy courses. Most recently, I have helped students study for the Physics portion of the MCAT and dramatically improve their test scores in the UofT Astronomy 101 class. I worked at the Math Help Centre during my studies at Bishop's University, and I currently work at a grade 2-12 math tutoring centre in Toronto.

I am also very active within the Astronomy Education and Public Outreach community in Toronto. I have given public lectures on the topics of "The History of Gravity", "The Search for Gravitational Waves", and "Alien Worlds". I was also in charge of the UofT Free Astronomy Public Tours (uoft.me/astrotours) for several years, and have been involved in many large-scale outreach activities at the University of Toronto (Science Rendezvous, the Transit of Venus, Toronto Science Festival) and at the Ontario Science Centre (International Year of Astronomy Kick-Off, One World One Sky). I currently work at the UofT Planetarium, where I have given over 50 interactive shows to school groups and private parties of all ages.

I have been playing violin for 24 years, and will give private lessons to beginners.
