She is currently studying to teach in the Primary/Junior division, but has experiences well beyond that. She has volunteered and done a coop placement at Coledale Public School, Stonebridge Public School and Gosford Public School. Cherie has been a counsellor, coordinator and director of a summer camp over the last 7 years. She has experience working with children from JK- Grade 6 through this camp. She has also taught at Smart Abacus camp, where she taught Math, English and Arts to Grade 1 students. has also been tutoring students who are in the ESL program, high school Math and English, as well as all subjects at the elementary level. Cherie graduated Unionville High School with a bilingual certificate, and therefore can teach French at an elementary level.
