I am a part-time student wtih TRU-OL, and I’m on my way to completing the Accounting & Finance diploma. I also have a Business Administration Certificate.

I have a strong knowledge of accounting, and have well-developed communication skills, and I can assist mainly with homework assignments. I will do whatever I can to help you understand the processes! I know that not all students are the same; each person has their own learning styles and needs, and I do my best to cater to these individual needs.

Why get a peer tutor? Studies have shown that students learn better from their peers and this is why a peer tutor is a better alternative as opposed to someone who graduated a long time ago or is an industry expert. No one will understand you better than a peer. I know what the courses are like, what the exams are like, how professors can be, and I find it very easy to see things from your point of view since I'm a student too. Older and more experienced individuals have trouble tutoring university students because they're so far ahead they can't relate to the student anymore. This is a common complaint amongst students so they come to a peer tutor, like me, who they feel is better suited to help them.

My rate is $20/hr. If you're willing to come to me at the Semiahmoo Public Library (1815 152 Street) the rate becomes $15/hour.

Minimum booking time within the White Rock/South Surrey area is 1 hour and outside of South Surrey is 2 hours.
