The two tutors I experienced at Open Door Academy, as far as I can tell, are VERY experienced, especially when compared with the other 'affordable' tutors I found online.. at only $35/hr you can't go wrong.. my tutors very super super patient and just knew how to each.. highly recommended for elementary Math (son was in Gr. 6).

Used them English tutoring for my daughter (gr.7).. Good company, easy to deal and quick responses from both the tutor assigned to my daughter, and the company. Got a super experienced tutor and prices are WAY cheaper than the big guys like sylvan, oxford, etc.

can't be more happy for choosing open door academy.. got their flyer in the mail and decided to try them out as they have a biology tutor in my area (ubc). am very impressed, em is very patient, and helping me grasp concepts a lot quicker. highly recommended.

My son's in grade 7 takes a little more time to learn in areas of grammar/english and math, so decided to give open door academy a try as it seems these are their main subjects. William was super patient and came up with a 4 month plan that really helped boost my son's confidence level and performance in both subjects.. I'll be sticking with him for high school too.. almost seems like a necessity now. thanks for all the help.

I needed help in university math and was referred to open door academy by a classmate.. met the manager first, who helped customize a plan to improve my grades, and assigned me to a tutor. Bob is great, very patient with me. Have been using open door academy for 2 semesters now, and am very happy with my tutor. Reasonably priced too, and all apparently all their tutors are very experienced with university degrees. Open Door Academy comes highly recommended!!
