We've been fortunate to have Kelvin tutor our grade 11 son primarily in physics for the past few months. Kelvin's kind nature supported our son not only in his learning of key concepts but in his attitude towards it as he had become discourged in his ability. It's not always easy to have your teenager want to go to a tutor after a long day at school and balancing work as well but he always wanted to go and he would often comment how Kelvin was an intuitive teacher. He said that when he didn't understand something, he wouldn't have to say, Kelvin would just start explaining it in a new way until he understood it. He always felt that it was a positive experience when he didn't always feel confident asking for help at school. Thank you Kelvin, you are a warm, kind and gifted teacher!
