My daughter who is grade 10 and has improved her math from C to B, my son in grade 4 has also imrpoved from being struggling in basic computation to now being a competient student My son likes the approach Ho Math and Chess takes that is to teach math intermixed with chess and puzzles, they do spark my son's interest in math.

Teaches you to break down abstact problems, see patterns and learn different methods to solve problems. Great help to improvement in school.
