It’s about a positive and determined mindset — and working with a great tutor!

I’ve taught the “old” math and the “new” math and I like to tutor with a mix of both. With me you can strengthen your math skills and understand concepts according to your own learning style. My students say that I give them lots of support and encouragement.

I started teaching math in the 90’s. I left teaching for a business career, and in 2014, I felt a calling to return to the classroom. I kept hearing about the new mindset that all students can do well in math, even to a higher level.

The idea that all children can do well in math really excites me. I believe that all students can achieve their dream career, and not let math stand in their way. I believe that MATH IS YOUR PATH!

I am passionate about tutoring middle school math. Most of my math teaching experience has been in middle school, grades 6 to 9. In the classroom, I have seen over and over again, those who can master middle school math can do well in high school and beyond.
