I am currently tutoring math for Grades 4 to 12. I am patient and good at explaining concepts clearly. The way I tutor includes, but is certainly not limited to, using different visual aids, making math relevant and meaningful, and providing help and preparing lessons according to how the individual student learns best and what the student's most important needs are. My lessons are intended for students in Grades 4 to 12. Although I am focused on tutoring in the Tri-Cities (Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam), I can tutor almost anywhere in the Greater Vancouver area.

I have a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.Ed. in Secondary School Education at The University of British Columbia. One of my favorite courses at UBC was a third-year math course on number theory. During my high school years I consistently finished in the top 10% on Canadian math contests. My best math mark was 106% in Math 9, when I always completed extra questions for bonus marks. Finally, as of today I have pi memorized to 400 decimal places.
So, if you are having difficulty with math, or if you are doing OK in math but want to have higher marks, call or send me an email or text and let's see how I can help you do better in math.
