I am an experienced instructor and tutor who can help you achieve success in your mathematics, statistics, sciences, or entrance exam preparation studies.

I am committed to providing high quality tutoring directly to students, with no agency fees, and no obligation for minimum number of sessions – students only pay for one session at a time, if and when required.

My qualifications include a B.Engineering, a B.Education in Math/Physics/Sciences, and a PhD. I am an experienced university, college, and high school instructor, curriculum developer, and tutor, and for over 20 years I have helped many students to succeed in the following subject areas:

* Mathematics

* Quantitative Analysis

* Engineering
* SAT, ACT, GMAT, LSAT, and other entrance exams

My approach to teaching is one of placing student understanding as the highest priority. I strive to work 1-on-1 with each student in the way that works best for them. My overall strategy with all students is:
- Solid understanding of the subject matter.
- Clear and logical explanations of how to grasp topics and apply them to problem-solving.
- Focus on efficient study techniques and strategies - students are best-served when they can achieve the highest grades with the most efficient use of their time.
- Patient, compassionate approach to teaching students.

I am currently offering face-to-face online tutoring via Skype, and a virtual whiteboard app that is free to use and allows students to save each tutoring session as a slide file that they can refer to for later study review. I have been providing this type of tutoring service for over 10 years, and I have helped many students to succeed in their academic courses using this method.

My base rate for this tutoring service is $60/hr for private 1-to-1 sessions. Group tutoring can also be arranged, at a rate of $30/person/hr. Discounted rates are available for sessions of 2 hours or longer.
