Tutoring Services and Experience
I have received a bachelor of science and master's of environmental toxicology degrees from Simon Fraser University. At the school, I was a teaching assistant (TA) for first and second year biology students for 7 semesters. The subjects I covered were general biology 1 and 2 as well as genetics. I also have experience teaching for high school students. I have tutored a semester of advanced placement (AP) biology at Elite Educational Institute, and have also tutored two semesters of chemistry 11 and 12, respectively, for students from the high school at Vancouver Island University.
I have always been passionate about education and consider teaching one of my preferred ways of contributing to the society. I was once an international student myself; therefore, I can relate to the challenges many of these students are facing. Not only do I possess the knowledge and experience to deliver course materials, I am also able to inspire students to achieve their goals and dreams...and maybe even the impossible.
