Hi!

I'm an experienced teacher and enjoy creating a non-stressful relationship with students so that they can feel free to ask lots of questions and try out their language skills (which can be scary for some!). A lot of Core French, French Immersion and ESL students need extra help with conversation, pronunciation and gaining a more workable understanding of grammatical concepts, verb usage and vocabulary. I have a BA in English Literature and can also provide with help interpreting literature (including poetry), and with essays and creative writing.

I have 8 years of experience as a writer, editor and translator and 3 years tutoring experience. I've been speaking French for 20 years and just returned from living in France. I live in East Vancouver but could travel to your home elsewhere in Vancouver, Richmond or Burnaby, or meet at my home or a public library. I have taught students from pre-K through high school and adults as well.
