I have been a teacher and tutor for over ten years.

For math, I beleieve that number sense should be valued above all. Students need to understand if their answers could "make sense" or are in the right ball park. Estimation and mental math are very important in determing the latter. I have a Masters in Math Education from the Mount and teaching kids to "think math" is a passion for me.

In French, I believe in evaluating students' writing, reading and speaking and working from an inital assessment to help them on their way.

I can also simply help with assignaments and concepts the students are covering in school.
