Hello, my Name is Debora Owusu and I am currently old enrolled at the Glendon campus in (York University) It's actually the only bilingual University in Ontario. I was actually born in Belgium so I have first hand experience with French as it was the first language i learned. Right now, I am double majoring in Economics and French.Thus, I am able to work in a flexible schedule.
I have done individual tutoring for about 2 years now. I have done general training for elementary students but have always specialized in French and mathematics. The way that I usually tech is that the student(s) and I meet at a public library and we finish their homework and then ill assign them a little homework assignment in which they can complete over the weekend. I am passionate about what I do because I love figuring ways out to explain and help other comprehend material. Specifically French, I'm so passionate about it that its just second nature , it doesn't even feel like i am explaining or teaching just merely having a conversation.
During the past three years I have volunteered with children, the Harmony Movement, the Zonta club, and an old folk’s home. My duties included stocking shelves and organizing clothes. I would also assist donors who needed assistance. During high school I would help out my peers with their essays and homework and exam prep. I have about one year of experience where i helped a child in grade 5 with his french homework.

My interests include writing short stories, running and painting.
