I am a certified (Ontario College of Teachers) secondary English teacher and have been with the Toronto District School Board since 2001. I am interested in tutoring students who are currently taking an English class in grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 at a high school in Durham.

Tutoring Services and Experience
I have a B.A. Hons, an M.A. and a Bachelor of Education for English grades 9 - 12 from University of Western Ontario. I have taught English for 12 years and would like to focus my tutoring on secondary students in the Durham region who are having difficulty with their English classes. I have two small children and no longer have time to do at home tutoring; rather, I would like to work with students who need extra help with writing. We would work via email and phone (if necessary) and I would assist in editing written work.
