Tutoring Services and Experience
I am a British citizen with an honours degree in English, a Bachelor of Education and Master's courses in English. Previously, I taught grade 12 English and Literature in British Columbia. I spent eleven years in Hong Kong, where I taught English in local schools. I taught students aged eleven to eighteen and also proofread all documents prepared for publication by the school. I trained students for speech festivals and also coached students for admission to Western universities. I was an examiner in the public examinations. Recently, I have engaged in private tutoring of university students in all subjects which require papers to be written in English. I also tutor students for whom English is not the first language. I can explain ANY rule or concept in English grammar or usage, and I have a wide vocabulary. I am well read and can tutor students in literature from any period.
