Greetings, my name is Ed. I am a UBC English degree holder who specialize in preparing students for their LPI exams. I have a TEFL certificate and have helped over 40 students achieve a score of 5 or higher on the LPI test.

I show my students easy methods to correct grammatical errors and write structurally sound essays. Through an initial diagnostic exercise, I pinpoint the student's weaknesses. Subsequently, I tailor the lesson plans according to the student's needs.

I also tutor high school level grammar and writing, as well as ESL of various levels for both children, teens, and adults. Conversational English is also covered, and I can help international students improve in their verbal communication.

I provide free online advice to my students if they wish to communicate with me outside of class. I also offer an essay proofreading service.
