Learning Music begins with passion. This is the foundation of David’s teaching philosophy. Upon this foundation students develop a deep appreciation for the importance of becoming acquainted with their instrument, theory, ear training, and standard repertoire. With those skills developing, they will head down a path of knowledge, fun, and musical fulfillment.

David’s students generally have great success in their musical pursuits. Four grade 12 students he taught over the last 2 years have went on to pursue music degrees at Berklee College, U of T, York U and Humber College

David is currently accepting students on the following instruments:

- Saxophone
- Voice
- Piano
- Group Jazz Ensemble
- Music Theory & History (any instrument)
- Ear Training (any instrument)
