Tutoring Services and Experience
My tutoring strategy is that I teach my lesson first, then I give my students some review questions to work on in class. When they are done, I check the questions and we will work on their problems together. They will get 2 or 3 more review questions to work on at home and become confident in the lesson taught because I do not like giving a whole bunch of homework and making the students hate the subject or feel stressedI have been tutoring math for Elementary and Grade 12 students last summer for 3 months and the results were satisfactory.I believe people with a high knowledge are not always the best tutors. Having knowledge and the ability to teach are two different subjects and in my experience, I have tried to teach all the necessary information as best as I can and focus on repeating and practicing required lessons rather than filling my students' minds with extra and unnecessary information. I have a high school diploma from National Organization for development of exceptional talents and have finished high school in Canada with an average of 94%. My Pre-Calculus math 12 average is 99% and I passed Biology 12 with a 96%. I am currently enrolled in a bachelor of science program in Douglas college and I am going to be transferring to University of British Colombia, bachelor of science program next year In addition, I am fluent in Persian language, for new immigrants who need a tutor familiar with their native language.
