Tutoring Services and Experience
I am an experienced, patient, and enthusiastic BC teacher with experience preparing students to write provincial exams, most notably the Social Studies 11 exam, and with helping students to prepare essays for class for all grade levels, including grade 12. I have taught a variety of subjects, including ESL, Social Studies, Geography, English, and Drama. I have experience helping students to understand politics, history, and Shakespeare. I also have experience helping student with their English language skills, most notably literacy, grammar, and vocabulary aquisition. I have also helped many ESL students to improve their ability to speak and comprehend English. Most importantly, I want students to enjoy learning new skills and become enthusiastic learners themselves.
