Tutoring Services and Experience
The Centre for Literacy is Edmonton's premier reading clinic that provides support to students of all ages who have learning disabilities or differences. Programs are tailor made to address a students strengths and challenges in the areas of reading, writing, spelling, comprehension or math. Teachers have specialized training in interventions/ methods that have been evaluated to be highly effective. The Centre also provides services in the area of Educational /Assistive Technology including assessments, training in the use of different ET/AT devices and software, and one on one training in Dragon Naturally Speaking, Read Write Gold, Speak Q/Word Q, Ginger and others.
