My name is Chelsea and I am a qualified teacher (TQS category 5). I offer general studies tutoring services to children in Grades 5 to 8 and specialized tutoring services to students in Grades 8 to 12. I also offer tutoring to post secondary students and adults. My services include help with homework and a comprehensive Individual Learning Plan to help students improve their foundational skills in English and Social Studies. I further offer my assistance in the education of individuals with Special Needs. I work from my home in the South Glenmore area of Kelowna in a safe, encouraging and fun environment.

I have been a professional high school teacher for the past 3 years. I am trained to teach English, Social Studies, English as an Additional Language and Writing. I also have 2 years, at the professional level, working with students with varying special needs (Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, etc). Furthermore, I am fluent in American Sign Language and have two years professional experience teaching at the BC School for the Deaf.

I am able to offer tutoring to students who require help in the following areas;

My fees vary from $25 to $40 per hour based on the level of individual lesson preparation and resources required to meet the needs of the student.
