My experience includes:
- Past students of mine have gone on to study at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Stanford, Columbia, NYU, UPenn, McGill, UBC, and many other top national and international universitie (If you are skeptical, you can check out my Facebook page!)
- Past students have achieved excellent results in the BC Provincial English 10 and 12 exams - 4 students have achieved 100%; many in the 90-percentile range
- Past students have won or been finalists in prominent writing competitions, including the YWCA writing competition, and the Commonwealth Essay Competition
- Have taught ESL of all ages and all cultural backgrounds
- Have taught English Language and English Literature from elementary grades up to and including university
- The BC Curriculum (Grades 8 to 12) and British National Curriculum (Key Stage 3 to A-Levels)
- Private one-on-one tutoring
- Classroom teaching with both large and small groups
- Have worked with learning difficulties/disabilities and behaviour issues
- Have worked with Autism spectrum disorders
- Have worked with prominent (or the children of prominent) individuals in Vancouver and the UK, so I am familiar with the discretion and privacy required in such circumstances
